Elroy DNR campground

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources maintains 2 primitive campgrounds for the Elroy-Sparta Trail - one near Elroy and one near Sparta. These are both self-registering with walk-in campsites. Below is a map of the Elroy campground and also a copy of the camping fees and instructions that are posted at each camp.
This campground is one-half mile northwest of Elroy on Hwy 71 on the Elroy-Sparta State Trail.

VISITORS MUST SELF-REGISTER FOR CAMPING
A surcharge of $5.00 will be charged to unregistered campers.
Six persons maximum allowed per site.

Peak season: Friday and Saturday nights Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend Sunday nights on Memorial Day and Labor Day weeekends	$12	$14
Non-Peak Season: Labor Day through the Thursday before Memorial Day Sunday through Thursday nights (between Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends)	$10	$12

Wisconsin Non-Profit youth groups may use the group site (see on map) at $.50 per person, $10.00 minimum per night / limit 20 people.
